It all started at a sports bar in Frederick, Maryland where Sammy first shared her original music on stage. Since then she has performed at venues throughout the East Coast including The Bitter End and The Pink Frog Cafe in New York City, Carrollton Station in New Orleans, and alongside her bandmates in Daisy Chain at The Otto Bar in Baltimore.

In September of 2024, Sammy released her self made debut record titled, “What A Joke, Being Hopeful And Shameless.” It explores the contradictions of hope within heartbreak; it dives deep into the sea of yearning. Since then, Sammy Royer has begun a collaboration with singer/songwriter Allie Moss. The two have released two singles so far with the latest and final being, “Irrelevant,” set to be available for streaming on July 10th. The trilogy follows themes of loneliness in coming of age, discovering the ever-changing parts of identity. Now, Sammy continues to expand her catalog and live presence while preparing new music and performances throughout the East Coast.

Born on the East Coast, Sammy Royer is an alternative pop artist who writes songs for the lovesick dreamer. With rich influences ranging from Fleetwood Mac to Lorde, Royer creates a nostalgic atmosphere with sultry vocals and grounded production. Her latest single, "College Dropout" is available on all streaming platforms.
